My Approach to Therapy

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. My approach is thoughtful, practical, and tailored to your lived experience, goals, and challenges. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make sense of your story in a new way.
I draw from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and humanistic-existential therapies, as well as narrative and parts-based perspectives. In practice, that means we may look at how your past experiences and relationships continue to shape your present life, identify patterns that no longer serve you, and build tools to help you respond differently.
Some of our work may focus on insight—understanding why you feel, think, or react the way you do. Some may focus on practical strategies for challenging limiting beliefs, managing emotions, and creating healthier behaviors. Some may involve exploring deeper questions of identity, purpose, self-worth, and connection.
My style is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and respect. I do not believe therapy is about “fixing” you. It is about helping you better understand yourself, heal from what has wounded you, and strengthen the parts of you that are ready for growth and change.

What Therapy Can Help With

Therapy can help you:
-
manage anxiety, stress, and difficult emotions
-
challenge negative beliefs and unhelpful patterns
-
heal from past wounds and painful experiences
-
improve relationships and communication
-
build resilience and emotional clarity
-
develop greater self-compassion and self-worth
-
feel more connected to your values, purpose, and identity
-

A Collaborative Process

I see therapy as a collaborative process. You bring your experiences, your questions, and your hopes. I bring clinical insight, practical tools, and a space where honesty and growth are possible. Together, we work toward helping you feel more grounded, more empowered, and more fully yourself.

If you are looking for therapy that is reflective, action-oriented, and deeply human, I would be honored to support you.
